Yeah, fair colors are the recessive ones, but what if Lightning's parens are was like redhead and white haired?! So the first generation is a mix of the two color.
Like AA and BB have full of AB kids.
That explains why she and Serah became pinkettes
That means, the father must have a recessive colorgenom, so the baby can be a pinkette....woah,tough-_- I remember a lot of things what I've learned in highschool, but still not enough.
Genetic is a funny but difficult game!
But... itīs rather hard that BOTH girls were pinkette; after all, itīs a game of possibilities, right? and both being recessive... Iīll still go with the dominant trait, but thank you! I forgot that possibility!
Like AA and BB have only AB childrens, no exeptions.
AA and AB can have AA and AB.
AB and AB can have AA, AB and BB, etc.
So if there is more combination-possiblity, the dominant genre decides.

And yes, Averia is a pinkeye (with the same shade of hair as Lightning) whereas Diana has Fang's hair and Claire has a slightly lighter shade of pink for her hair than Serah.
Guess we all wish for that in the end.
Iīm glad you liked the drawing! Though that image isnīt original. I fell in love with it the first time I witnessed my best friend feeding her newborn baby. The look each gave the other was so beautiful, it made me fall in love with the idea of having one.

Itīs good you just went with your guts, itīs indeed the easiest way. Problem with me is that Iīm complicated in several ways, so from time to time I indulge myself with some mental onanism (no offense intended!).
